Fair Use Policy – WSB “Unlimited” Storage
Effective Date: 20 October 2025
Applies to: WSB Tiered Plans marketed with “Unlimited Storage” and related add-ons (including Unlimited Mail Addon).
1. Purpose of this Policy
This Fair Use Policy defines the acceptable use of storage offered under One.com’s WSB plans marketed as “unlimited.”
It is intended to ensure that all customers enjoy reliable and consistent service while preventing misuse of the storage systems.
2. Fair Use Allocation
Standard Allocation:
Each WSB contract includes 200 GB of web storage as the fair-use baseline.
Customers with an Unlimited Mail Add-on also receive 200 GB of mail storage.
When both are purchased, the combined fair-use total is effectively 400 GB (200 GB web + 200 GB mail).
Exceeding the Allocation:
The 200 GB (or combined 400 GB where applicable) limit is intended to cover the needs of the vast majority of customers.
One.com monitors storage consumption and may request clarification if usage consistently exceeds these limits.
Productive Use Exception:
Where customers can demonstrate a legitimate need for additional space for the normal operation of their website or mail services (e.g. high-volume e-commerce sites), One.com may grant additional storage on request at its sole discretion.
3. Permitted Use
Storage provided under these plans is only for data required to operate and display the customer’s website or email service.
Examples of permitted use include:
- Website files and databases
- Images, videos, and other media actively used on the website
- Email content and attachments stored within the mailbox
4. Prohibited Use
The following activities are not considered fair use and may result in suspension or restriction:
Using the space primarily for backup, archival, or media-only storage unrelated to the website or email service.
Hosting file distribution services, e.g., large software repositories, peer-to-peer file sharing, or content delivery networks.
Any activity that compromises the stability or security of the platform.
5. Monitoring and Enforcement
One.com reserves the right to monitor and inspect storage usage to ensure compliance.
Customers exceeding the fair-use allocation may be asked to reduce usage, upgrade to a suitable plan, or justify the excess.
Persistent or unreasonable overuse may result in service restrictions, suspension, or termination in line with the Terms & Conditions.
6. Updates to this Policy
One.com may update this Fair Use Policy from time to time.
The latest version will always be available on the One.com website.
Changes will take effect upon publication.
