Onemedia is a one-man marketing agency, launched in 2021 by Rasmus Schack. His company works with a wide variety of clients, both individuals and businesses of all sizes, and provides marketing services ranging from website design to small email campaigns.
Onemedia is proudly hosted on one.com. We spoke to Rasmus about the importance of having a website, his work building websites with one.com, and his recommendations for other small business owners.
The value of a website
After many years of work in the retail industry, Rasmus made what felt like a natural transition to self-employment. “I’ve always had an interest in IT and tech,” he recalls, “so I decided to take a chance and follow my dream.”
Rasmus sees a website as a business card and considers it important for other small business owners and freelancers. He has worked on his own repeatedly until landing upon a design he is proud of.
“It’s the first thing your customers see, but it can also be the last if it doesn’t work!”
He recommends a website for anyone, from bike shop owners to freelance musicians. In his own line of work, he has helped dozens of people by building their websites, primarily using one.com’s Website Builder as a base.
“I think it’s easy to build a website using Website Builder, especially if you’re not keen on advanced coding,” he shares.
Why one.com
Rasmus has been a customer of one.com for many years, building both private and commercial websites through it.
“If there is something that could be improved or should be added, they are good at investigating it, and if possible, it becomes part of their offers,” he comments.
While Rasmus has used a variety of one.com’s tools, he’s partial to the Website Builder.
“It’s so easy to use,” he states. “There are simple click menus, good beginner guides, and I love both the basic features as well as the more detailed integrations, such as Google Analytics.”
