We are looking for Operations Engineer (Linux) who aspire to work on “Open Source Engineering” assignments using skillset mentioned below.
Job Description
- Large scale Infrastructure management using Linux Administration
- Applications management using Web services, Database, DNS, Networking, and Internet Technologies
- Automation of regular tasks
- Monitoring of infrastructure and its components
- Programming skills in Golang is good to have
- Exposure to IT security domain is good to have
- Managing different file systems over Linux
- Hardware management interfaces
- Debugging internet infrastructure and application related problems
Skill-set
- Linux Administration, Infrastructure Management, Web, DNS, Networking, Internet Technologies (HTTP, SMTP, IMAP, etc.), Internet Services (Bind, Apache, Postfix, Varnish, Nginx, IPTables), File System, Scripting (Bash / Python / Perl / Shell), Monitoring tools (Prometheus / Shinken / Nagios / Zabbix / NewRelic / Icinga / Graphite / Graphana), Database (MariaDB / PostgreSQL / MongoDB / CouchDB)
The right candidate will have
- Bachelors (Engineering) Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- 4+ years of professional experience
- Passion for working in a complete open source environment.
Key words – Linux operating system, Infrastructure Management, System Administration, Monitoring tools, Databases, DNS, Networking, Internet Technologies and protocols, Internet service implementation / applications, Any scripting or programming languages (Bash, Perl, or Python etc.), Virtualization, Package building, DevOps tools, and version control systems (GIT, SVN, etc.)
