Large scale phishing attacks against registrars

Written Nov 6, 2015 Category: Security - Web Hosting

During the last 2 weeks several large domain registrars have been targeted by email phishing attacks.

Scammers have sent emails to domain owners, warning that their domain will be suspended. In the email you are invited to click a link. Clicking the link downloads malware to your computer. The email looks like it is sent by a large domain registrar, like for example Ascio.

Never click links in suspicious emails

If there is anyhting to report about your website, we will always contact your directly and we will never ask you to download a file.

If you have received a suspicious email, please delete it immediately and don't click the link. Feel free to contact our support if you have any questions.
