Keep your website running smoothly with continuous security updates and reliable support for older PHP versions – 8.0 & 8.1
Keep your website running smoothly with continuous security updates and reliable support for older PHP versions – 8.0 & 8.1
Each new PHP release marks the end of official support for older versions. Once support ends, those versions no longer receive updates — leaving websites exposed to security gaps that can affect both your project and others on the same hosting platform.
The PHP community will discontinue official community support for PHP 8.1 on December 31st 2025.
We generally recommend using a current version of PHP. To take advantage of the latest features, performance enhancements, and compatibility updates, PHP 8.2 or higher is recommended. You can find a detailed list of changes in the official change log.
With PHP Extended Support, you can continue running older PHP versions (8.0 & 8.1) safely even after the community stops maintaining them. Upgrading PHP can take time — especially for larger or custom-built projects. Our service ensures your site remains operational smoothly while you plan your update at your own pace.
