I have tried hostings from Hostalia and so on for $1 - big promises - very low functionality. In the end you end up buying cloud space & more and it is expensive and very complicated.
Since I use one.com - I recommend it to anyone I know who is creating a web.
Great customer service. I accidentally ordered several hosting packages instead of them being domains only, and Marcello from customer service adjusted them as they should be and also ensured a refund would be issued. Great example of how customer service should be.
I was helped straight away and very correctly. Just as all the other times I needed their help ... They're always there for me, day or night. Great service.
Well, once the conversation started it was nothing more or less then exactly the information both needed to provide each other in order to solve the issue I had.
-in other words, as efficient and professional as it could be! :)

I accidentally renewed two domains that I no longer needed and contacted one.com support immediately. Hergie patiently guided me through the cancellation process, verified that both domains were canceled, and submitted my refund request. I also received written confirmation by email with all the details and the expected refund timeline.
The response wasn't instant, but the support was professional, courteous, and thorough. Hergie took the time to double-check everything and ensured my concerns were fully addressed.
