When a domain is registered we are required by ICANN to publish the details of the owner of the domain in the WHOIS directory. This includes the name, adress, email and phone number. Activate domain privacy on your domain to hide your personal information and protect your identity.


Step 1 - Log in

Log in to your Control Panel and click Domain Privacy.

Step 2 - Start activation

Click Select to start activation.

Step 3 - Select payment

Check the box to accept the terms for Domain Privacy, select a payment method and click Approve.
Next you need to enter your details, depending on the payment method you have chosen.

That's it!

That's it! Domain Privacy has now been activated on your domain.

Note: It may take a while before the information on public WHOIS websites has been updated. This is because websites store content locally. Learn more here.
