Using Exchange Active Sync on Windows Phone

Step 1 - Tap Settings
Step 2 - Tap email + accounts
Step 3 - Tap add account
Step 4 - Choose Exchange
Step 5 - Enter your email and password
Step 6 - Tap done
Step 7 - All done!

In this guide we show you how to set up your email account with Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) on your Windows phone. You can also choose to set up your account with IMAP. Check out the guide below.

Setting up Windows Phone

Tap Settings on your phone

Step 1 - Tap Settings

Tap Settings on your start screen or in the app list.


















Tap Email + accounts

Step 2 - Tap email + accounts

Tap email + accounts.


















Tap Add account

Step 3 - Tap add account

Tap add an account to start setup.


















Choose Exchange as account type

Step 4 - Choose Exchange

Select Exchange as account type.


















Enter your email address and password

Step 5 - Enter your email and password

  1. Type in the Email address you want to set up.
  2. Type in your Password, the same as for Webmail.
  3. Tap sign in.















Your account has been set up, tap Done

Step 6 - Tap done

Your account has been added. Tap done to close set up.


Note: If you have custom DNS settings on your domain, Windows may not be able to detect your settings.

In that case, you need to set up the account manually:

  1. Tap sign in again.
  2. Tap advanced.
  3. For User name enter your complete email address.
  4. For Server enter m.one.com.
  5. Tap sign in.






You are all done! Your emails are now being synced to your phone

Step 7 - All done!

Your account is now setup and your emails, contacts and calendar events will sync automatically.

Note: It may take a while until all your emails are synced and available on your Windows phone.
