Setting up Mail OS X
Select Mail in the menu. Click Preferences.
Click the Accounts icon, in the opened window.
Click the + icon in the bottom-left corner of the window.
Full Name will be the name appearing, when people receive e-mails sent through Mail.
Email Address is your e-mail address created in your control panel. In this example mail@yourdomain.com.
The password is the one you chose, when you created your account in your control panel.
Click Continue
Choose IMAP in the drop-down menu Account Type.
The Description is only to identify this e-mail account - you can enter anything here.
Your incoming mail server is imap.yourdomain.com, where yourdomain.com is your own domain name.
The user name is your e-mail address, e.g. mail@yourdomain.com.
The password is the one you chose, when you created your account in your control panel.
Ensure that the Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is unchecked and the Authentication is set to Password.
The Account Description is only to identify this outgoing server - you can enter anything here.
As a One.com customer, you are able to use send.one.com as Outgoing Mail Server.
Use Authentication needs to be checked. Provide the same User Name and Password as you entered above.
Click Continue
Ensure that the Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is unchecked and the Authentication is set to Password.
Click Continue, and click then Create.
Once again, select Accounts, as described earlier and select Edit Server List in the drop-down menu Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP).
Set the Server port for your Outgoing Mail Server to 2525 under the tab Advanced. Do not edit anything else.
Click OK, and your setup is done. You are now ready to receive e-mails in Mail OS X.
