New report shows the Hollywood Reporter as most-read industry website According to a recent report from comScore, the Hollywood Reporter is the most-read website in the entertainment industry.

comScore research for July reported 1.9 million unique visitors for THR.com, which is significantly more than the second-most-accessed site, Deadline Hollywood, with 1.2 million visitors. The Hollywood Reporter's amount of readers was four times as much as its main rival, Variety. In addition, THR drew fives times as many readers as the latest entrant in the entertainment news world, theWrap.com.

July's number of unique visitors for THR represented a 25 percent increase from June, according to comScore.

Other major brands for entertainment news also trailed THR, such as the New York Post's Page Six, RollingStone.com and Vanity Fair, with 1.8 million, 1.2 million and 967,000 visitors, respectively. 

In addition to reigning supreme with overall visitors, THR.com averages the most minutes per visitor with 2.9. The Wrap and Deadline Hollywood were the closest competitors with 2.2 and 1.2 minutes per visitor, respectively. Variety readers spent 0.8 minutes per visit.
