Setting up Android Email

Open the email app on your phone and select to set up a new account. Enter your email address and the password that you selected for the email account in the Control Panel. Then click Manual setup.

You may now select the account type. We recommend that you select IMAP.
Please see the FAQ What is IMAP and POP3? for an explanation of the different account types.

For Username enter your full email address (in this example: name@yourdomain.com, yourdomain.com being your domain hosted by One.com.)
Password: The password for the email address above
IMAP server: imap.yourdomain.com
Port: 143 which is the default port for IMAP.
Security Type: None
IMAP path prefix: Leave this field empty
Then click Next.

Your phone is now trying to contact the server. When the connection is successful, you will be taken to the next step.

For the outgoing server settings, please enter the following information.
SMTP server: send.one.com
Port: 2525
Security Type: None
Require sign-in: Should be checked
Username: Your full email address (in this example: name@yourdomain.com)
Password: The password for the email address above
Then click Next.

Your phone is now trying to contact the server. When the connection is successful, you will be taken to the next step.

Here you set how often to check for mail. Then click Next.

The selected email checking frequency is displayed.

Enter a name for the account. The account name is there for you to easily identify the email account in your phone if you have multiple email accounts set up. We recommend that you use your email address as the account name.
Enter your name and click Done to finish the setup.
