The interface shows the settings that you have set for your gallery. The Gallery Name is shown in the top of the browser windows. If you have entered text in the About me and About the gallery field, a link will be shown in the top.
Note: If your gallery doesn’t contain any albums, you will see a login form.
Logging In
In order to create and administrate albums for your gallery, you will need to login. The login is the user´s e-mail address and password as set when the user was created or when the user was added during the creation of the gallery. In order to create albums the permission Create album and upload photos must be given.
If your gallery contains no albums you will be automatically directed to the right page so you can create the first album.

In a mixed album you set the rights for every image separately.

If you wish to give the gallery a description or change the settings for embedding or permissions for downloading original images, then click +More.
Uploading Photos
The way of uploading photos to the gallery differs from browser to browser. But the Photo Gallery enables all browsers to upload multiple high resolution photos at once, which means no waiting time between each upload.

A new dialogue window will appear, giving you the possibility to browse your computer for the photos you want to upload to your album.

Afterwards, choose in which quality you want the photos to be uploaded. You can choose between:
High Quality for Web

The photo will automatically be compressed to fit the screen, without loss of resolution, when shown to the visitor.
Click the Upload button in order to start uploading the selected photos.

If you want to change the arrangement of the photos, simply click the photo and drag it to another position between two other photos. A dark colour will appear between the photos to indicate the new position of the photo.
In order to save your new album click the Save button. Or click Cancel to discard all changes and delete the album.
Photo Gallery and disk usage
In order to display a thumbnail version of a photo, the gallery will store some smaller versions of the pictures. These extra pictures are small and will only take up a negligible amount of space on your account.
However, this means that the Gallery’s total disk space usage may exceed the sum of the uploaded pictures’ size.
You can always check your current disk space usage in the web space control panel.
Viewing an Album
In the left side of the screen all albums in the gallery are listed. Private albums are only visible when logged in to the gallery.
Each album is presented with it´s Album Name, creation date and the number of photos in it. This example shows an album called My Album, created the 20/05/08; it is Public accessible and contains 5 photos.
If you click on either the Album Name or the Cover Photo you will be taken to the content of the album.
The left side of the screen changes appearance to show thumbnails of the photos. If you have written a Description for your album, it will be visible below the thumbnails. In case of more than 18 photos, there will be links to multiple pages.
When you click on a thumbnail, the photo will appear in the right part of the screen, displaying the photo in the largest size available without compromising quality.
Above the large sized photo there is a button bar.
