Creating a Gallery

The Photo Gallery gives you the opportunity to upload and share photos with your family, friends, colleagues etc.

To access the Photo Gallery administration system, click this icon in the control panel:

Click the Photo Gallery icon in the control panel.

You will see a list of your current galleries. If you haven´t created any galleries yet, the list will be empty. To create a gallery click Create new gallery.

Here is a list of your current galleries.

Choose a name for your gallery. This will be the title of your gallery appearing in the top of the browser window.

Now type in a name for your gallery.

Choose a location for your gallery. This can be either the front page of your webspace or a subdomain.

Enter a sub domain or select the front page as the location of the Photo Gallery.

Existing albums can be added to the current gallery. If you don’t want to add an album, do not select any albums.

Add existing albums to the Photo Gallery.

In order to add albums to your gallery, you must add a user. To create a new user, select New user.

Create a new user for the gallery.

Fill in the fields E-mail, Name and Password for the new user. The e-mail address will be the login name. Finally Re-type password to complete the user creation.

Fill in the information required to add a new user.

To add an existing user, select Add existing user.

Choose between adding a new or an existing user of the gallery.

A list of existing users will appear. This list will also contain any users created in the One.com blog system. Choose a user by clicking the button next to the e-mail address.

To select which User group your user should belong to in this gallery, simply check the relevant box(es).

Set User permissions. The first user created should be given all permissions for full control over the gallery. The following options can be set:

  • Super user - Full permissions, this user has ability to see, edit and delete albums created by other users and also to change settings for users/groups/albums, to allow anonymous comments and other settings inaccessible to other users.

  • Create album and upload photos ` The user will be able to create new albums and upload photos to the albums.

  • Create new comments ` The user will be able to comment the photos in the gallery.

  • Delete comments ` The user will be able to delete comments for a photo..

  • Add friends ` The user will be able to invite and add friends.

Select the permissions you want to give this user.

Now choose one of the design templates.

Choose one of the design templates for your Photo Gallery.

Clicking on each template will display a Preview.

Clicking a design template will display a preview of the gallery.

Click on Create gallery to create your gallery.

Click the button to create the gallery.

Your gallery is now created. You can access the gallery and add an album by clicking Upload photos.

Visit your new gallery and start uploading photos.

You will automatically be logged in as the user you just added to the gallery.

You can also return to your Control Panel.

Return to the Photo Gallery front page in the Control Panel.
