Guides & FAQ

What is an Internationalized Domain Name (IDN)?

An internationalized domain name (IDN) is an Internet domain that contains one or more non-ASCII characters e.g. ó, ü or ø. Some domain types allow the use of almost any local character in a domain name.

Since the non-ASCII characters are not fully supported by web servers and applications such as e-mail, we have decided not to offer IDN domain names at One.com.
