How do I transfer my .be domain to One.com?

Before you start a transfer, it is important to make sure that the email address registered for this domain is correct.

1. Check the email address for your domain

Search your domain in the Whois on www.dns.be and confirm that you have access to the registered email address. If not, contact your current hosting provider to have it updated. The transfer code (Auth id), needed to transfer your domain, will be sent to this address.

Tip: You can check the current status of your .be domain on www.dns.be. DNS.be is the registry for .be domains.

2. Place an order on our website

Enter your domain in the top-right-corner on our website. On the next page click Yes, this is my domain and follow the rest of the procedure. After you have completed your order, we will send you a confirmation via email.

Tip: The email address that you enter under Customer details will be your contact address, so we advise you to use an address that is not linked to your domain. This way we can also reach you in case of problems during the transfer.

3. Confirm the transfer

As soon as you activate your order with us, we will request a transfer code (Auth id) for this domain with DNS.be. They will send the code to you via email. You then need to give the code to us in order to complete the transfer. You can enter the code via a link to Transfer your domain in the order confirmation. You can also give us the transfer code (Auth id) via the online chat support or via email.

Reason a transfer might fail: Your domain is in quarantine

When a .be domain expires it gets quarantined for 40 days. During this period the domain cannot be used. It is possible to reactivate the domain again for a fee. The only person who can reactivate the domain is the former registrant, as shown in the Whois. After the quarantine period runs out, the domain becomes available for registration again.
