How do I access Bix with WebDAV?
WebDAV lets you access Bix with third party applications that supports WebDAV. You can for example use Cyberduck, which you can download for free at http://cyberduck.ch/, but you can even build your own apps to access your data the way you want to. Operative systems like Windows, Mac OS X and Linux have built in support for WebDAV.
WebDAV (Web-based Distributed Authoring and Versioning) is a set of extensions to the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) that makes it possible to edit and manage documents stored online.

As mentioned earlier, applications like Cyberduck can access your drive using WebDAV. The Cyberduck application can be dowloaded for both Windows and Mac at http://cyberduck.ch/
You can buy routers which have built-in support for WebDAV, and lets you connect to your drive.
TIP: to access your drive with WebDAV, the name of the drive cannot contain special characters, full stops ".", spaces or capital letters.
