GlobalGold writes: Businesses 'should aim for simple domain names'
Businesses should always aim for simplicity when selecting a new domain name, it has been suggested.
Thomas Darré Medard Frederiksen, chief operating officer at One.com, said this is "possibly the most important point to consider" when choosing a domain name.
All domain names chosen for business websites should be simple to remember, spell and communicate, he added.
"A complicated domain name with alternative spellings, for example cars4u, will make it harder for prospective customers to remember and find in search engines," Mr Frederiksen said.
